#5OnMyTBR: Titles Starting with a ‘G’

#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook  and you can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. It occurs every Monday when we post about 5 books on our TBR.

Found it a bit more tricky to find titles starting with G – at the moment, there are none on my Reading Challenges! But in the end I did manage to pull up some interesting ones.

#5OnMyTBR June 12th: Titles Starting With a ‘G’

Georgette Heyer’s Regency World by Jennifer Kloester

Format: Hardback
Genre: Non-Fiction – History

This was a gift from my partner when I first started getting into Regency Romances, and I have yet to read it, partly because I had a couple of Heyer books I wanted to read first, and also because this is one of those books I am going to have to take notes on, so it’s a matter of finding the time to really dive in.

Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

Format: Paperback
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Ah, I really need to read this as soon as I possibly can. I loved Take a Hint, Dani Brown, and it felt like fate when I spotted this on a pub shelf during a family function. Of course I immediately grabbed it! I’m currently keeping an eye on where I can slot this in with the Reading Challenges, as that is currently the best way for me to get a book to the top of my TBR

Goldilocks by L.R. Lam

Format: Paperback
Genre: Sci-Fi – Dystopian

Not the first time it’s appeared on one of these and it really won’t be the last. It’s another one I’m really looking forward to reading but haven’t had the time yet, though it does look so, so good. And I have faith Lam’s writing is really good. I’ll get to it at some point.

Gentleman Jim by Mimi Matthews

Format: ebook
Genre: Historical Romance

Ah, Regency. It’s a subgenre I’ve grown particularly fond of, but moreso if there’s an element of humour to it. This one sounds fun though with the setup, but I’m not sure if I should try and read the first in the series before digging into this. We’ll see though.

Girl, Goddess, Queen by Bea Fitzgerald

Format: ebook
Genre: Fantasy – Romance

I’ve been really struggling to find a book for a particular prompt (featuring an arrogant character), then this jumped out at me – Now all she has to do is convince the Underworld’s annoyingly sexy, arrogant and frankly rude ruler…well, perfect! So this one is now on my reading challenges list, hopefully I can read it relatively soon. It sounds so much fun, and I do love a mythological retelling!

Doing these lists definitely makes me wish I had much, much more time to read! There’s just so many great books sitting on my TBRs, and I want to read them all. Maybe one day I’ll get it down, but for now I’ll just keep an eye out for the ones I really badly want to read.
