Over at Divination Hollow Reviews – the horror and dark fiction site I run with the help of a small, dedicated team of contributors – we’re celebrating Pride in Horror Month throughout June, and I thought it’d be a good opportunity to showcase the content we’ve featured so far!
Welcome
I think I’ve done a welcome message of some sort for almost all our events, but this year feels especially important. As always, I’ve reiterated our stance, but there’s some extra stuff here about the future of the site, too.
Book Review: Adapt. Evolve. Become
Our first book review for Pride in Horror 2024 comes from Dai, who reviewed Adapt. Evolve. Become: The Genderqueer Fandom of NBC’s Hannibal
Poem: Gothel’s Girls
I love that people send us poetry and short fiction for Pride Month, and this is a great one to have at the start of the month!
Book Review: Gay Aliens and Queer Folk
This one is a book review from me, and for a book I really honestly loved. It’s a great look at Russell T Davies and his influence on queer and Welsh TV – well worth a read.
Short Story: Tiresias
I loved reading this short story, and I think a lot of folks will enjoy it!
Poem: Troop No. 80085
The second of three poems by the same writer – again, it’s one I really loved, so hopefully you will too!
I hope you enjoy the content we’ve had for Pride so far, and if you do like the above, it’s worth checking in through the month, as we have plenty more where that came from.
