Yes, another post about TV. I just think this is the right time of year to pick up a new series, especially if you like stuff featuring the paranormal. None of the shows I mentioned on my recent Vampire Shows post will show up here, but there is a series I really like with vampires that wasn’t included there, sooo…well, let’s just give in, shall we?
The Originals
I actually watched this before watching The Vampire Diaries, and I still really loved it. The family make for some excellent morally grey characters, and it’s been on my “maybe I should rewatch this” list for a while.
iZombie
I love this show. I’ve rewatched it twice, and loved it both times. The characters are just so much fun, especially Liv, though if you’re a fan of the graphic novels…the two really have nothing in common! But I still really like both.
Lucifer
This is another show I adore, and have rewatched. It’s just so much fun, and Tom Ellis is excellent casting. Well, the whole cast is great, really.
Ghosts UK…AND US
Okay, I admit, I loved both of these! The US version adds some nice elements, and actually handles the transition really well – I’m not usually one for US adaptations, but something about Ghosts means the US one retains a lot of the humour and love, but puts a fresh US sincerity over it without it feeling like too much. The differences and similarities between the characters are handled really well, and past the first episode of the US version they feel like completely different shows.
