Monday Moods is a weekly bookish meme created and hosted by Unwrapping Words (aka, me!). The premise is simple: every week, there’s a new ‘mood’, ranging from tropes to genres or actual moods (happy, sad, etc). Paranormal! I love books with any paranormal element, going right back to when I was a kid reading the Medium series by Meg Cabot, or my teen years picking up books like Interview with a Vampire. Whether it’s romance, horror or almost any other genre, if it’s got a dash of the paranormal, sign me up! So, with that said, here’s five books on my TBR that fall under paranormal.

I Want to Read This Because somehow, the Immortals After Dark series escaped me, despite the fact I was just digging into PR around the time the series was coming out. It was listening to the Fated Mates podcast that convinced me I need to read the series, and would enjoy it – so much so I actually picked up the first four books. It’s near the top of my TBR with my Reading Challenges, so it shouldn’t be too much longer before I can (ahem) sink my teeth into this.

I Want to Read This Because Black Ops Bodyguard Shifters. Yes please. I’m so looking forward to this – it’ll be fun to pick up some of the romances I have on my Kindle again, and seeing as I’ve recently been reading a fair bit of non-fiction, I’m really looking forward to something that’ll be a bit more of a mood lifter.

I Want to Read This Because the paranormal isn’t just found in fiction. I attended a talk by Delyth Badder when this book was released, and it was fascinating to hear the accounts of more ‘localised’ ghosts. I’m really keen to dig into this and unearth the ghost stories within.
