So I decided it would be fun to try and create my own Book Tag! Please feel free to let me know what you think, and if you decide to do it, all I ask is that you just mention I created it and let me know about it! I’d love to read responses from others!
Aaron Burr, Sir
A Great Rivalry
Characters who really drive each other to be better, sometimes out of spite, or who are ultimately destined to be enemies…bonus points for both!

Things to Do Before the End of the World by Emily Barr is an intriguing sci-fi thriller, focusing on Olivia as she enjoys the impending apocalypse with a long-lost cousin….
My Shot
Characters Who Would Sacrifice Everything
Whether for good or bad, there’s those characters who will do anything to achieve their goal…

I loved loved loved Malice by Heather Walter, and talk about a character who will do absolutely whatever it takes to ensure she gets her shot.
A Winter’s Ball
Favorite Meet-Cute
We love them, don’t we? That moment two characters meet and you can absolutely tell they’re going to end up together, no matter what happens in the meantime…

I adored this book, and thought the ‘meeting’ between the two characters was done in such a lovely, unique way! Olivia Lara’s The Meeting Point is a very sweet story and well worth checking out if you want to ‘escape’ for a bit.
What’d I Miss
Side-Characters Who Outshine the Hero
Ah, those delightful characters who live on longer in memory than the heroes themselves…

Grey plays a key role in Brigid Kemmerer’s A Curse So Dark and Lonely, but the bulk of the story is focused purely on Harper and Rhen. With the second book, we got to spend much more time with Grey, but it’s in the first book he manages to steal scenes and keep the attention on him as Harper and Rhen navigate their feelings towards each other.
It’s Quiet Uptown
The Ones That Break Your Heart
Those books that leave you a crying mess, curled up in a ball and barely able to recover from the book hangover, wondering why authors have to live off the tears of their readers…

There are so many books I could have put here, but honestly this was the first one that came to mind. I think it’s the last book that really felt like it ripped my heart out and had me sobbing. Instructions for Dancing is, without a doubt, a wonderful novel.
Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story
A Lasting Legacy
Those books you just cannot stop thinking about since finishing them, the ones you know you’ll remember for a long time to come…

This has been in my mind since I finished reading it, and I really can’t wait to get my hands on the next one! Iron Widow I hope will really have an impact with readers. The review should be appearing on Divination Hollow sometime soon!
There we go! 6 great songs, 6 books! This has actually been really fun, so I’ll definitely keep an eye out for other Book Tags to do and maybe even try and come up with some more in the future. As I said at the start, if this is one you decide to do, I’d love to hear about it.
Tagging Everyone! If you see this and want to give it a go, please feel free.
I spotted the link to this post on blogger Bookcraic’s (@Marysimms72) Twitter feed and I love it! Tempted to have a go myself, but have a busy few weeks ahead so I may take some time!
