Absence

Okay, firstly – sorry for my absence! Not that I think I have die-hard fans desperately waiting for my posts, but just in case you are there (and if you are, hi! Thank you!)…

I started this month thinking I’d take part in Blogtober, though not doing it every day. I didn’t want to put that pressure on myself, not when I have other things going on, including adjusting to my new job. I’ve also had editing work, and was working on reading through submissions for the Woman Built By Man anthology I’m co-editing.

So yes, October has proven to be a bit busy and I had to ease up on something – in this case, the blog. I managed to do a few posts in early October but I have absolutely no idea where the time has gone!

November is building up to be a bit of a busy month too, though hopefully not as crammed as October. November…I’m used to November being busy, normally with stuff away from the laptop and usually NaNoWriMo, though I’m not participating in that this year, as I really do need a bit of a break.

November is my birthday, and gearing up for Christmas, and even with a few days off it’s hard to keep on top of everything when I’m celebrating with family or friends, or dragging Rich into town so I can pick up some treats.

The other reason I haven’t posted more is that I’ve been reading books I can’t talk about yet, so I haven’t had a chance to really post any reviews. I’ve finished those now, however, and am in the process of editing some reviews to hopefully come up on the blog sometime soon.

So yeah, hopefully more stuff coming in November, and definitely some stuff over on Divination Hollow, so have a check over that website for some fun stuff coming this month! And hopefully I get back to more regular (ish) schedule soon!
