The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, it was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addict. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
Do you post your reviews before publication day or wait until close to or on publication date?

The majority of the time, most of the books I’m reading have been out for a while. But when I do read an ARC prior to publication, I try to post it fairly close to the publishing date – usually no more than a month before. When I’m looking at my ARC list, if I’m looking for a book that hasn’t yet been published, I try to look about six weeks ahead, so I’m not reading it too soon in advance, but still giving myself time to read, review, and schedule it.
