Book Tag: The Last Book I…

I spotted this one over at Meg’s Magical Musings, and knew it was a tag I wanted to try out eventually. Looks like a good one, so let’s dig in.

The last book I bought

My last visit to Waterstones, I picked up the sequel to Jennifer Killick’s Dread Wood, Fear Ground. This worked out extra well as my boyfriend also read Dread Wood and was really excited to get the next one.

The last book I borrowed

I borrowed the Doctor Who graphic novels from my boyfriend a while ago. I don’t think I’ve picked up one of his books since, but the way all our books end up muddled together sometimes it is hard to tell which ones are mine and which his.

The last book I was gifted

I had a few for Christmas, including The Celts and You Say Potato, both from my boyfriend – not many others buy me books anymore!

The last book I gave to someone else

I don’t really get to do this as often now, though I did fairly regularly when I worked in an office. The person who I most often give books to is, as you might have guessed it, my boyfriend. I got him the Star Wars Thrawn book as a gift on the same trip where we picked up Fear Ground.

The last book I started

Memphis Mayhem by David A. Less.

The last book I finished

Small Town Girl by Donna McLean.

The last book I rated 5 stars

Same as above! Small Town Girl by Donna McLean.

The last book I DNF’d

That would be Always You by Caroline Khoury. I never used to DNF, but since I decided there were too many books and too little time to struggle through something, my DNF shelf has increased to 5.

The last book I listened to

Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo. It’s a wonderfully moving book. I’m always listening to an audiobook, and my current read is The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli, which I am loving.

There are my answers. As always, if you want to give this a go, please do, just let me know so I can read your answers, too.
