The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, it was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addict. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
Do you have a “trademark” that everyone would know it’s you whether you said your name or your blog name?
(submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)
I find this a bit difficult to answer, partly because my name itself is quite unique. And because I use it quite consistently, I think there’s people who, if you said “Elle Turpitt” to, would go “oh yes, the blogger” or “the writer” or “the editor” or “Esbat!” or “Divination Hollow!” and props to anyone who lists off all of them! But yeah, I think my own name stands out quite a bit, and I’ve had friends mention that if they mentioned me to someone who is also, say, a writer, they go “oh yeah, I know of her” – that’s a kind of weird experience for someone, definitely!
And I hope if someone mentions Unwrapping Words, the name of my blog, that it is recognisable as being this particular blog – it’s not a name I’ve seen come up before, so hopefully it does stand out!
