What fictional character would you most like to meet in person?
(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
This is a hard one! I feel like I so often read books with such great characters, and when I do feel a connection to a character, I often feel like they’d be fun to meet up for a drink, coffee, meal with etc. And sometimes you see these characters go through so much, you just want to meet up with them so you can give them a huge cwtch!
From the most recent books I’ve read, I’d love to meet Mika Moon – and the rest of the family at Nowhere House! The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is full of lovely characters, and it would be so nice to visit the house as it just feels really homely, and somewhere you can relax. You can read my review here.
Other than that, the types of other characters I’d love to meet are the ones who have been through fantastical adventures who could tell me all about what they’ve experienced. Characters like Lila Bard (Shades of Magic), Shadow from Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, or Roland from Stephen King’s Dark Tower series. Actually, imagine being in a room with those three? Shadow and Roland both barely saying anything for a while, Lila filling the air with chatter. It might be kind of interesting.
What about you – what sort of fictional characters would you most like to meet?
