The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, it was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addict. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
Have you ever switched reading genres? If so, why?

Not as such – largely because I’ve always read a wide variety of genres anyway. If something catches my eye I’ll pick it up, no matter the genre. Though I have to admit a couple of years back I was reading so much horror, I really had to go out of my way to find stuff that was lighter, and I’ve kind of switched back and forth between Romance and other genres ever since. I think that tends to be when I switch, is when I’ve been reading so much of one thing (one genre or subgenre) and end up craving something different. But even with that I tend to read multiple books at once, and depending on what I’m reading I might try and find something fairly different from that.
What about you? Are you a one or two genre reader, or do you like to mix things up?
