Well this is going to be fun. This is a great Book Tag I saw over at Meg’s Magical Musings, and I absolutely love the blog so go check it out.
The last book I bought: A Star Wars book that I can’t quite recall the name of! It was a random purchase – walked past a charity shop, spotted it on a table outside, and my boyfriend loves his Star Wars book. How could I resist? So that’s the last book I bought, though it wasn’t for me – for that it would be Into the Lyon’s Den, an ebook, because I’d picked up a book later in the series, realised it was a series, and decided to try from the beginning instead.
The last book I borrowed: The last one was probably Doctor Who: The Cruel Sea, if it still counts when you’re living in the same house! Mostly the books I ‘borrow’ come from my partner; we have so, so many here, I haven’t been able to look elsewhere to borrow any, really.
The last book I was gifted: Bill Bryson’s Shakespeare: The World As Stage. This was from a recent trip, and we were very kindly allowed to browse a book collection and pick a book out. It was wonderful, and I walked away with this, which I am really looking forward to digging into!
The last book I gave to someone else: See first answer! The last book I gave was to Rich, and it was also the last book I bought.
The last book I started: The Umbrella Academy, Volume 2. Though that might change by the time this is posted, but I am usually reading a graphic novel at any given time, and this is my latest. I hoping I can get the next volumes for relatively cheap, though considering the success of the show that might be unlikely.
The last book I finished: Hawkeye, Volume 1: My Life as a Weapon. Great graphic novel, so much fun, I absolutely loved it.
The last book I rated 5 stars: Same as above – the last book I read (Hawkeye) was a 5 star read for me.
The last book I DNF’d: Arabian Nights: Volume 1, by Marty Ross. I couldn’t get far into this at all listening on Audible, and I really wish they’d gone with another writer.
The last book I listened to: Slay in Your Lane Presents: Loud Black Girls. I got into Audible fairly late, within the last few years, but I’ve kind of fallen in love with Audiobooks. Like Graphic Novels, I’ve always got one on the go.
Another really fun Book Tag, and definitely one I might try again in the future. As usual, won’t tag anyone, but feel free to give this one a go, and don’t forget to drop a link below so I can check out your answers. Also make sure you visit Meg’s Magical Musings while you’re at it!
