The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, it was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addict. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

I actually haven’t! As far as I know, it’s a site similar to Goodreads, in that it has the same general function – a social media platform for books. Maybe I should check it out…
The thing that stands out to me from a quick look is that it very much looks like a social media rather than reading platform. It looks more like Facebook or Instagram than Goodreads, with trending hashtags and posts on the homepage with various people highlight what they’ve read. It looks like it could be fun, but for me personally, I don’t have the energy to use another platform right now.
But if it’s something you’re keen to check out or have used before, I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with Litsy or any other platform.
