I can hardly believe we’re in November already! Due to time constraints (aka finishing up Blogtober) I won’t be doing a Top Ten Tuesday today, but instead will be highlighting a handful of the books I’m hoping to read this November. This TBR will have the book I want to finish, and three of the next books I’m aiming to read, but hopefully if I finish these I’ll be able to put another post later in the month with some more books. The ones I’m focusing on first are Christmas themed, but I might change this later if I find it’s just a little too much Christmas.
To Finish
Our Share of Night by Mariana Enríquez, Translated by Megan McDowell

I was hoping to finish and review this in time for Halloween – wishful thinking there! It’s a long book. I’m about 50% in and still with 4.5 hours to go, according to my kindle. But that shouldn’t take me too much longer, and I am enjoying this, though I’m also keen to finish and get on with another book. So far though I would say it’s definitely worth reading – it’s evocative and with a strange underlying horror to it, rather than a more overt horror.
To Read Next
Naughty or Nice: A Holiday Regency Anthology

Yep, I’m hoping to read this one at some point in November, though this might be time dependent as I’m not quite sure how long it is! I’m really keen to check it out though – the combination of Holidays and Regency had me requesting this as soon as I saw it.
Santa Maybe by Mary Jayne Baker

This book looks like so much fun, and it has so many elements I usually love in Rom-Coms! I’m really excited and keen to dig into this. It just looks utterly charming.
All I Want for Christmas by Maggie Knox

Again, fun, elements I love (this one is a fake relationship) and something that sounds like it’ll have me grinning the whole time. Yes please! I was really excited to get approved for both this and Santa Maybe, and they seem like they’re going to be great lead-up-to-Christmas books!
So these are the books I’m hoping to read first, but I’m going to aim to get 5 (not including Our Share of Night) NetGalley books read this month. I usually read a paperback and a kindle book (normally an arc) at the same time, but I’ll only be focusing on arcs for November. Let’s hope I can clear a few of them off my shelf!
