Have you ever stayed up late reading a book?

Yes! I love reading at night, and if I hit a really juicy spot in the book I’m reading, I struggle to put it down. I do try not to spend too long reading, but if I notice I’m near the end…yeah, I’ve stayed up later than I should have to try and finish it.
Definitely I had more of a habit of this as a teenager, when later nights didn’t make me feel as rough the following day as they do now! Sometimes I do the opposite, too – I wake up early and read for a bit, before falling back asleep. This is usually on the weekends, when I know I have a bit longer to enjoy a particular book. That’s similar to staying up late in that it usually happens when either I’m totally hooked on a book, and wake up wondering what’s going to happen next, or I’m towards the end of it and I know a little reading will get me to the end.
So to answer the question – yes, I have stayed up late reading a book. Sometimes it’s just way too hard to put it down!
