This actually really sounds like something I’d enjoy, and I definitely haven’t had a whole lot of collections pop up on the shelf so far. Reading the summary makes me really want to read this one.

I know the exact reason I added this to my want to read: because I absolutely freaking loved World War Z. And anything that’s Max Brooks + zombies I think is worth checking out. This one I do still want to get a copy of, and give it a read, eventually.

It’s no surprise this one now has a “This item does not meet our guidelines” message because of course you can’t read a journal. I don’t even think this would be available now? Well, whatever, there’s one clear answer for this one.

At this point, more so than standalones, the first book in a series has to really grab my attention to make me want to pick it up. I love a good Urban Fantasy series, but there’s so many out there I already want to read, and though this one sounds intriguing, there’s nothing that stands out in the summary that makes me really sit up.
