5 Sapphic Books for Pride

I know we’re not in June yet but I’m a little excited and thought as we’re very close, now would be a good time to highlight some of the fantastic sapphic books I’ve read more recently. So if you’re looking for books to pick up during Pride, why not consider these? And as always, if you have recommendations please let me know – in all genres!

5 Sapphic Books

Bookshops & Bonedust
Travis Baldree

Genre: Fantasy
Age: Adult
Format: Audiobook
Published: November 7th, 2023

Review

The romance isn’t a heavy feature in this one, but I kind of liked it all the more for that – the relationship isn’t the focus, but it’s part of Viv and her arc, and it’s sweet. I really liked this book overall, and look forward to reading Legends & Lattes.

The Valkyrie
Kate Heartfield

Genre: Fantasy
Age: Adult
Format: ebook
Published: January 1st, 2023

Review

Brynhild and Gudrun in this novel stole my heart – it’s a great book, and I was totally hooked the whole way. The way these two dance around each other, crash like waves and draw back like the tide and, just, ugh. Brilliant stuff.

The Christmas Swap
Talia Samuels

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Age: Adult
Format: ebook
Published: January 1st, 2023

Review

I know it’s only May so we might not be thinking of Christmas just yet, but this is one of my favourite sapphic romances, that just so happens to be Christmas themed, so it very much earns its spot. Honestly, this book is freaking adorable, and I loved every second. I was cheering these two on the whole time, and when they finally kissed, ugh, beautiful!

Becoming Human
Holly Gray

Genre: Paranormal/Fantasy
Age: Adult
Format: ebook
Published: September 21st, 2020

Review

I will shout about this book every chance I get. I adored it. So much. It’s a wonderful road trip novel with an absolutely beautiful relationship at its core, and it’s so heart-warming it’s like drinking tea or hot chocolate in book form. What more could you want?

That Could Be Enough
Alyssa Cole

Genre: Historical Romance
Age: Adult
Format: ebook
Published: June 26th, 2018

Review

Again, I will shout about this book at every opportunity. It’s beautiful. Just a wonderfully written, enchanting novella that I loved every second of.

Like I said above, please do let me know your recommendations for sapphic books, as I am always keen to read more.
