I love doing these so much, I decided to do more. And wow, I’ve gone through 50 books! As I said last time, I’ve currently removed 21 from my Goodreads ‘Want to Read’ shelf. There’s obvious patterns, too, and I can see when I was going through various book phases. Recently we had the zombie period, and now we’re shifting towards more Fantasy, Paranormal and Urban Fantasy series’. Let’s see how we do today. Undead and Unwed – MaryJanice Davidson
I have to admit, this one sounds fun. RomCom meets Paranormal, it seems like a fun twist on the early 2000s vampire craze. This seems like it could be a fun, enjoyable read, with sexy vampires. I really wouldn’t mind checking this one out.

Dead Witch Walking – Kim Harrison
A few years ago, if you’d put this book in front of me I think I would have lapped it up. But now I feel like I’ve (personally!) read too much of a similar plot. It sounds intriguing and like something I might enjoy, but I don’t think this will be for me any time soon. That cover, though? That cover does look striking, and definitely tells you what you’re in for – it deserves a mention!

Sunglasses After Dark – Nancy A. Collins
Ahhh okay, the moment I see the author’s name I know I’m sold on this one. I’m also 99% sure I’ve read at least one Sonja Blue story – the name is familiar and if I did I know I liked it. Anyway, this book was published in 1989, and I’d be interested in seeing if it holds up at all.

Dark Dance – Tanith Lee
This is another name recognition one, another author I’ve read stories by, and someone I definitely want to read more of. Again, this is an older book – published in 1992 – so would be interesting to read now, and it’s Lee’s first horror novel. This is definitely one I’d like to check out still.

The Speed Queen – Stewart O’Nan
On the one hand, this does sound like it could be interesting. On the other…there’s something about even the blurb that kind of turns me off, in one of those situations I can’t quite put my finger on. But whatever interest I did originally have in this has, unfortunately, gone.

So there we have it! 2 more gone from the Goodreads TBR, and 3 remaining from this lot. There are still plenty more to go (my Want to Read on Goodreads is way, way too big) so hopefully I can continue to whittle this down bit by bit. As much as I can, I’m going to do this fairly often for a bit, as I do quite enjoy them. I hope you do too, and as always, if you have read any of these or have any thoughts on my choices, please do let me know!
