Oh this sounds fascinating. I’m surprised this wasn’t on my radar already, but definitely one I want to check out now!


Strange Weather

For some reason I thought I’d read this, but apparently not – I have read enough of Hill’s work to know I really do like him as an author, and this really is one I need to read.


The Twisted Ones
by T. Kingfisher

Like Hill, T. Kingfisher is a writer I’ve read quite a bit from, and tend to really like. This is definitely one I want to read.


Malorie

Status: Not Currently Interested

I liked Bird Box well enough, but nothing about this one particularly grabs me. I’m glad Malerman was able to return to this story and it was received well, but there’s so much excellent horror out there I’d rather read before picking this up.


Summer Sons

Status: Hadn’t Heard Of

I was kind of prepared to discount this from the first part of the summary, but reading on, I don’t know, it sounds kind of intriguing? And it’s queer horror, which is something I’ll always support. So yeah, hopefully I’ll cross paths with this book at some point and dig in.
